Detailed Description

Food Card Top Up in bands of £5 for non residential students. Please note that a downloadable guide to the use of food cards is available on purchase, however the main points are noted below:

a) it allows you to buy your meals at our catering outlets without the need to carry cash around campus;

b) your student id card will be activated to act as a food card. Please go to the finance office or student services to activate your card before first use.

c) the food card is for your personal use only;

d) your food card is valuable so do not lose it;

e) you can credit your card in multiples of £5, with a minimum credit of £5.  It is important to budget carefully

f) you can top up at any time here, however the card will only be updated during office hours of Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.  Please note top ups can only be purchased online at this shop.

g) Any amounts left on the card at the end of each term will be automatically carried forward to the next term, except at the end of the academic year when no refunds are issued and any remaining unspent balance is cancelled.

h) if you lose your card, report it to Finance as soon as possible, so that the card can be cancelled.  If anyone else tries to use your card it will be rejected and retained at the till.  Prompt reporting is important as the College cannot be held responsible for any monies lost prior to reporting.
